        Would it be appropriate to use a comma-delimited approach and leave the 
frequency unit at the end? Something like:

$ psrinfo -v
Status of virtual processor 0 as of: 12/04/2007 17:55:03
on-line since 11/26/2007 15:06:47.
The i386 processor operates at
[1596, 1800, 1977, 2000, 2660] MHz

        I made up those values, btw. :)
