Are you seeing lower p-states at all? If not, have you been able to determine if it is the tool or is it that your vaio is not being transitioned into lower p-states (use kstat cpu_info to determine the latter).
If it is the latter, then you have cpupm enabled in /etc/power.conf and a cpu-threshold of 15s? Mark Raj, Ashok wrote: > Well.
