Thank you Dana, On the positive side we will remove the AcpiOsAcquireLock() change we put in to have idle threads spin lock. AcpiHwRegisterRead() andAcpiHwRegisterWrite() no longer grab a mutex. :-) The merge compiled now. Thank you, Bill
