This functionality is definitely in our road map for PowerTOP. However, a
discussion about the implementation of this feature needs to happen before
that, and as part of other PM projects currently underway.
Our intention is to implement these suggestions through a stable, documented
interface that fits into the overall architecture of the system.
Currently, PowerTOP only suggests enabling power management (through
/etc/power.conf) as that is not on by default in SXCE.
