Hi Joy, I have this book called "Handbook of Character Recognition ad Document Image Analysis" by Bunke and Wang. I just got it from Amazon in July 2008. It is a good one but I did not read the other ones to compare; I just did comparison on Amazon site by reviewing the readers feedback. Hussein Al-Hussein
