Update here: What I am having the most problems with right now is the Access Violation. Almost nothing shows up on it except possible bugs when running OCR executble, and nobody seems to get it from a c++ development context.
I beleive that the problem here is that I may be passing it the wrong data. A couple of things here: I have a 32bit image, as the HBITMAPINFO header tells me, so I call it setting the bpp to 32. Is this supported? I heard 24 bpp was supported, but I also hear that only 1 bpp is supported, perhaps that was the case awhile back?. I think the problem here is that there is so little documentation, and what I do find is conflicting....
