(I hope I understand your question. If not, could you include exactly what you found written about tessdata.) Here is an example based on using tesseract on English. C:\Program Files\tesseract \tesseract-2.03\tessdata\eng\ on my computer has a bunch of files for English, and the tessdata folder has some other files for English, such as eng.DangAmbigs. The exe files are in the folder above tessdata.
