I have downloaded and built the tool using the instruction in the Release Notes Instructions ---------------------------------------------- Building Tesseract: Windows: Unpack the tar.gz archive Open tesseract.dsw in DevStudio (preferably version 6, higher versions will be more difficult) Set Win32 - Release as the active configuration. Build. Copy tesseract.exe from bin.rel up one directory level. Run tesseract phototest.tif phototest This will create phototest.txt. -------------------------------------------------------------
but not able to run it The log says ======================== read_variables_file:Can't open "/tesseract-2.03/tessdata/configs/Tool \tesseract-2.03\phototest" Unable to load unicharset file "/ tesseract-2.03/tessdata/eng.unicharset ======================== Do I need to follow some more steps.
