I'm training tesseract for a project. To make sure I understood the training process, I ran it on a small training image. Generating the .tr file went fine, with no errors beyond some "Unlabelled word" warnings. From there I ran the rest of the training system and got a small but working (i.e. I tested it with -l lang and it OCR'd stuff) set of language files.
Fortified with confidence, I started over with a larger training image. Same training results: nothing worse than "Unlabelled word" warnings. But when I run mftraining on the resulting .tr file, it crashes with: Reading training-image.tr ... Error: Illegal malloc request size! Fatal error: No error trap defined! Signal_termination_handler called with signal 2001 Writing Merged Microfeat ... Can anyone fathom this issue? It makes no sense to me. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "tesseract-ocr" group.
