Hi, I have been running tesseract on Windows Vista via the command line. I had been running a series of images through tesseract and all were working fine. However, yesterday out of the blue I tried to run tesseract and I got a windows message saying "tesseract.exe has stopped working". I tried re-installing the system, downloading again, unzipping, re-building etc. But the same problem happens. I have no idea why.
I have also tried to re-install tesseract on a different laptop, however when I try to build tesseract (in Release mode by the way) in Visual Studio I get 7 failures. It builds fine on my first laptop so my second laptop must be missing something - could anyone tell me the prerequisites for running tesseract? Thanks, any help would be much appreciated.
