Ray, I could not wait for your clarification. * I)tesseract.sln * Anyhow I downloaded again from the source (svn) and compiled in Visual Studio2008(VC++) by clicking on tesseract.sln and *not* tesseract_2008.sln. generated tesseract.exe( *debug* file of 2.86mb) which found works well. *Unfortunately it does not work in SoftiFreeOCR* even phototest.tif (which I used testing Kannada by replacing tesseract.exe in windows folder) Then I tested on Command Prompt found phtotest.tif as well as Kannada.tif works well.
