I've recently started trying to train tesseract to understand a very specific font from a word game. You can see my training image [url=http://groups.google.com/group/tesseract-ocr/web/fontfile.tif]here [/url], the font never varies from the 26 upper case characters shown. I've worked through all the trainingtesseract page but when I try and run the ocr I recieve the following error:
Error: Illegal malloc request size! Fatal error: No error trap defined! Signal_termination_handler called with signal 2001 Signal_exit 30 SIGNAL ABORT. LocCode: 3 SignalCode: 3 I have little experience working with source codes so I'm just working with the 2.01 exe build. There seems to be a possible fix for this error defined [url=http://groups.google.com/group/tesseract-ocr/ browse_thread/thread/7b04aa05552453c3]here[/url] but its for linux and the uncompiled source code. Any tips on how to fix this issue using the latest exe release?
