I have been able to compile Tesseract on both Windows with VS2008 Express and in Linus on Fedora with the x86 toolchain so far. Good job guys.
My next step is to cross compile with the arm toolchain. Normally, I would expect to invoke make with a CROSS_COMPILE="arm-none- gnueabi-linux-" command line argument but there is no joy. Would someone be so kind as to give me a few hints on cross compiling tesseract for an ARM so I can attempt to load it into a "Beagle Board" and a TI OMAP EVM board and report back to the group?
