I'm using a x64 Vista and can't get tesseract to work... First I tried using the tesseract-2.04 windows executable (with English language data). When running from cli it properly calculates the size and resolution of the image, but the output file is always empty (output file has 2 bytes, probably just newline and a whitechar). I use uncompressed tif files of course :).
Than I tried the Tessnet2 (http://www.pixel-technology.com/freeware/ tessnet2/) downloading the full source codes, recompiling (VS 2008 PE, did it for both x64 and x86) and running the graphical demo wrapper. But all I get for any image is just a single "~ (100)", nothing more. Any ideas why could that be? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "tesseract-ocr" group.
