Hi, is anyone here using VietOCR, or maybe you know who is developing it? The website http://vietocr.sourceforge.net does not give any detail, and I could not login to their forum for some strange reason...
Anyway, VietOCR java version is perhaps the best Tesseract GUI for Linux, but I encounter a problem in it. I can OCR whole document without any problem, but if I try to OCR a selected region of a document (like I always need to do in two-column documents) I get an error message "Errors occured." in a dialog "OCR operation". The command line displays this output: http://pastebin.ca/1883391 I am running VietOCR 1.7 on Ubuntu Lucid (10.04). Anyone encountered this problem and have a solution, or – can anyone help me contact the developers?
