I think I've discovered a point of confusion. From the above instructions, it appears to imply that you should download the file tesseract-2.01.eng.tar.gz However only the file tesseract-2.00.eng.tar.gz appears on the list. Or perhaps I am mistaken? So another option would be to re-write it as > tesseract-2.xx.<lang>.tar.gz (choose latest version available) contains the > language data files for ...
