Hi again, * Binary images of 1 bit per pixel may also be given but they must be * byte packed with the MSB of the first byte being the first pixel, and a * 1 represents WHITE. For binary images set bytes_per_pixel=0. This is from function TesseractRect() Can I also use this on SetImage()? Reason is that I already have a gray scale image (1 byte per pixel) but the image only holds 2 values, white (255) and black (0). I was wondering if in my case tesseract still converts it to a binary image or does it use the grey scale directly. If it makes a binary image first can I tell it not to do so or do I have call the SetImage function in binary mode? And in binary mode will one byte be interpreted as 8 pixels? Regards, Mike
