Hello everyone, I was trying to use tessdll project to create a dll out of tesseract (using Visual Studio 2008) which I further plan to use in my application which is compiled on GCC (under mingw). I understand that it has been mentioned in one of the ReadMe pages that the current tessdll project does NOT include any runtime packages while building and hence would fail to run without Visual Studio. I have already verified that as well since the DLL I create does not run unless VS2008 is installed.
In case the dll is to be made a standalone one, what configuration settings are to be done in the visual studio project. Has anyone done this previously? Reply awaited.
