Hello people,

This is for licence plate recognition, not the first time that I write here.
BTW, thanks for your previous help and special thanks to Dmitry who always
gives hard work to analyze each case.

I trained tesseract with the following file:

fontfile.tif:

https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0BxkuvS_LuBAzZmY1NDFlYTUtYzVjMC00MGFiLWIxYjctNDZkMjEzYzMyMmE3&hl=en_US

and when executing it on this image (text JCQ 976):

https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0BxkuvS_LuBAzYjBhN2Y5MTgtODkzZS00ZmUyLThhY2UtMGIwMzgwNTgyMTc4&hl=en_US

I'm getting an O instead of a Q.

In this image (text JCD 046):

https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0BxkuvS_LuBAzMzAwOTI0OTktMGQ4OS00ZmZmLTgzNGMtZjA4NDU0MjZlNGQ0&hl=en_US

I'm getting an O instead of a D.

This is running on video frames. Most of the frames are being recognized ok,
but some fail and there is not big difference between them. Tess seems to be
very sensitive to something that I can't discover.

I'm still using Tesseract 2.04 under Windows. Why ? Because I need to use
some JAI camera drivers which are 64 bits and I still am not being able to
compile Tess 3.x version in 64 bits, because it has new dependencies with
libs that should be also compiled in 64 bits.

Do you perhaps have some tips or ideas about what is the problem with this
images ?

BTW, have any of you succeed in compiling tess 3.x for 64 bits Windows ?

Thanks,

Andres
