Hi Lahiru, Happy to hear about a Sinhala_OCR. :) Couple of months back I started a similar project to train tesseract for Sinhala language. I have train it for couple of sinhala characters and it works fine for them. You do not need to be much familiar with Visual C++ to train tesseract.
