With a simple input .tif file (attached) that containts a very-readable text "Her old man will be jealous!" in one line, my ouput text file shows: "Hidillfllflhfiilfl". I spent quite a lot of time to build (windows 7, visual C++ 2010) the APIExample available on http://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/. I used pre-built dlls: libtesseract302.dll and liblept168.dll. My input text is on a red background, with white characters of black countours. My command line is: baseapitester-dll t.tif x -l eng -psm 7 (the nanme of my exe is baseapitester-dll.exe) Would anyone know what is wrong and how I can fix it, please?
