Hi All,

I have created a unicharambigs file for my data, but I'm seeing a lot of
references in this group to a DangAmbigs file as well. From what I
understand, it works with the dictionary files somehow, but I'm not sure
how. I have an idea of what DangAmbigs is supposed to look like, but is it
supposed to be a separate file that I have in the same directory as my DAWG
files, presumably named something like lang.DangAmbigs?

I'm also not sure how these two files are different, or if maybe DangAmbigs
is from an earlier version of Tesseract or something. I'm using 3.02.
Maybe, the difference answers another question I have about unicharambigs:
is any ambiguity found taken into account before or after dictionary
lookup. Is the unicharambigs processed before or after the dictionary is
consulted? Is maybe the DangAmbigs consulted during dictionary lookup?

Also, I'm finding unicharambigs only seems to really work when I've got
more than one character on either side of the "equation". For single
character substitutions (t -> r, or vice versa) it doesn't really work so
well. I'm curious whether anyone else is finding the same thing.

Thanks,
Matt
