Hi folks, I'm curious what GUI frontends for Tesseract people have tried, and what they like and dislike about them. There's a list at https://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/wiki/3rdParty#GUI
Basically I want something I can point novice computer users to in order to benefit from free OCR stuff. I'm not interested in proprietary offerings, except as points for comparison. If there are useful features which are missing from all free software, it might be good to try to add them. While I don't tend to enjoy graphics programming, I'd be willing to devote some time and energy to making things better if that's needed. Any reviews, experiences or anything would be most welcome.
