I'm running tesseract 3.02.02 on Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS from the command line. I'm trying to configure my settings to save the tessinput.tif image tesseract "sees" in order to improve my pre-processing step. As recommended in the FAQ<https://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/wiki/FAQ#Output_without_result_or_bad_output> I want to set the variable tessedit_write_images to true, though I am not sure how to accomplish that. I attempted to create a config file called save_input_image in tessdata/configs whose only contents are "tessedit_write_images T", but that hasn't worked. I would greatly appreciate some help so I can get my OCR project rolling! Thanks
