Hi, I have installed tesseract-ocr (tesseract-ocr-setup-3.02.02.exe) and choose the option "Just for me" and selected the default installation path. (C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Application Data\Tesseract-OCR>)
When I uninstall the tesseract from tesseract Uninstall option , it shows uninstallation complete message but, the tesseract still showsin start menu, registry entries not removed and environment variables set for tesseract also not removed. So just want to know is it a know bug or system specific issue. We have used this on Windows XP(32 bit) and Windows 7 (64 bit) However , when I choose "everyone on this computer" option while installing tesseract , these issues does not occur.
