By OMR, do you mean Optical Music Recognition, or Optical Mark
Recognition? (Or something else?)

If you mean Optical Music Recognition, take a look at Audiveris
(https://audiveris.kenai.com)

If you mean Optical Mark Recognition, take a look at QueXF
(https://code.launchpad.net/quexf)

Tesseract won't be much use in either case, but Audiveris uses
Tesseract for OCR of textual elements in sheet music.
