I am informed by Mr. Quan creator ot Jboxeditor tool that The current jTessBoxEditor version(1.4) is compatible with Tess *3.02*. The training process follows Tesseract Training wiki: https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tesseract/wiki/TrainingTesseract, *which **does not mention** how to process the extra files that you've seen, which are probably pertaining to 3.04.*
