Hi there, currently im using tesseract ocr to convert receipt image to text. Tesseract is very suitable for your purpose. There a lot of ways to improve the accuracy, you can refer to this link Improve Quality <https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tesseract/wiki/ImproveQuality> which is really really really usefull. :-)
