Hi everyone, saw on github this is where I should go for this. Hope someone
can help!

tl;dr: I thought I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, but no matter
what I do, I'm getting this error whenever I run anything with tesseract,
even '-help':

tesseract: symbol lookup error: tesseract: undefined symbol:
_Z16tprintf_internalPKcz

system is Ubuntu 18.04, will provide any other info you need!

long(er) version: downloaded through package manager, worked ok, but
realized I need to run oem0 (the legacy engine) due to not being able to
whitelist characters in 4.0. Tried to download the english traineddata,
didn't know where to put it as it wasn't downloaded through the package
manager. Thought building tesseract from source was a good idea because
then I would know where everything was and could just move the traineddata
files where tesseract could find them (before building from source I tried
using -dir, but maybe I did it wrong). I am a beginner when it comes to
computers and didn't even know the difference between java and javascript
until a year or so ago, and I'm very new to linux, so I'm sure in trying to
build from source I missed some crucial step and broke something. I removed
the directory I was building from and used apt remove, then reinstalled
through the package manager, but I'm still getting this error. I would be
very grateful if anyone could help me solve this issue to where I can get
tesseact 4.0 working (ideally get the legacy engine working, but at this
point would even just be happy to get any functionality)!
