Hi everyone.
I'm working with pytesseract (python+flask) and deploying my work to a
server running on Debian.

On localhost, tesseract is working perfectly. On the cloud it's not the
case. The output is very poor (you can see a comparison of the output on
the images).

I thought it might have something to do with the tesseract versions so
here's the ouptut for "tesseract --version" in both cases:

--Windows:
tesseract v5.0.0-alpha.20190708
 leptonica-1.78.0
  libgif 5.1.4 : libjpeg 8d (libjpeg-turbo 1.5.3) : libpng 1.6.34 : libtiff
4.0.9 : zlib 1.2.11 : libwebp 0.6.1 : libopenjp2 2.3.0
 Found AVX2
 Found AVX
 Found SSE
 Found libarchive 3.3.2 zlib/1.2.11 liblzma/5.2.3 bz2lib/1.0.6 liblz4/1.7.5

-- Debian
tesseract 3.04.01
 leptonica-1.74.1
  libgif 5.1.4 : libjpeg 6b (libjpeg-turbo 1.5.1) : libpng 1.6.28 : libtiff
4.0.8 : zlib 1.2.8 : libwebp 0.5.2 : libopenjp2 2.1.2

My Debian version is the following (Output of cat /etc/os-release)
:
PRETTY_NAME="Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch)"
NAME="Debian GNU/Linux"
VERSION_ID="9"
VERSION="9 (stretch)"
VERSION_CODENAME=stretch
ID=debian
HOME_URL="https://www.debian.org/";
SUPPORT_URL="https://www.debian.org/support";
BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.debian.org/";

thanks!
