I had the same problem. One dependency to install tesseract-4.1.3+git4271-3.1.x86_64.rpm is tesseract-langpack-osd-4.00~git30-5.40.noarch. When I try to install tesseract-langpack-osd-4.00~git30-5.40.noarch I have a loop dependency.
Error: Problem: conflicting requests - nothing provides tesseract needed by tesseract-langpack-osd-4.00~git30-5.40.noarch This was solved when I installed all dependecies with one command. *Step 1 - Download* wget https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Alexander_Pozdnyakov/CentOS_8/x86_64/leptonica-1.78.0-3.41.x86_64.rpm wget https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Alexander_Pozdnyakov/CentOS_8/noarch/tesseract-langpack-eng-4.00~git30-5.40.noarch.rpm wget https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Alexander_Pozdnyakov/CentOS_8/noarch/tesseract-langpack-osd-4.00~git30-5.40.noarch.rpm wget https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Alexander_Pozdnyakov/CentOS_8/x86_64/tesseract-4.1.3+git4271-3.1.x86_64.rpm *Step 2 - Install* yum install -y leptonica-1.78.0-3.41.x86_64.rpm tesseract-langpack-eng-4.00~git30-5.40.noarch.rpm tesseract-langpack-osd-4.00~git30-5.40.noarch.rpm tesseract-4.1.3+git4271-3.1.x86_64.rpm Thanks for the tip!
