Any testers out there that have collections of mp3's and have played them with new Fedora 15? I have run several tests and oggs play fine, wma's and m4a's play fine, but mp3's give that screechy sound :(. I know that fedora does not include mp3 playback since it is a forbidden item: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/ForbiddenItems But they should be playing fine. Something is causing this screeching sound and I don't know what it could be. I have only to ask other testers if they are able to play mp3's that have worked well in previous fedora versions, if they are able to play them. This would be a turnoff :( Please test this out.
