a.) Make sure the firmware is current.
b.) Enabled Secure Boot again
c.) Boot the Fedora install image from USB stick created using either dd or 
livecd-iso-to-disk (part of livecd-tools package; but requires reading the 
instructions to make sure you create it correctly for EFI whereas with dd is 
much easier but overwrites the USB stick).
d.) If easier than hand recording the exact error messages, use cell phone 
photos or video.
e.) File a bugzilla and attach all relevant information: make/model and 
firmware revision of the hardware, the error message(s). File against shim.
