my problem was, that the "unsuccessful shutdowns" did only appear to about a
probabilty to 80%,
therefore "journalctl -b-1" was better, there I could choose that shutdown,
which failed. Anyway since
an update to a newly produced Kernel in Koji (I think it's rc5), the problem of
failing shutdowns
disappeared for now.

`sudo shutdown -h now` produces nothing relevant?

Hi,
since installation of some programs, which are offered in Gnome SW, no
shutdown of the system possible.
I tried to find the blocking process by removing "rhgb quiet", but after
clicking on the shutdown button,
there is only a black screen, the system seems still to run, I have to
shutdown manually.
Any idea how I can find the blocking process, or can produce a logfile?
 Kind regards
