It's apparently still a problem. Clean install of Fedora 28 using
netinstall which gets me Firefox 59 but when I explicitly install the
requested debuginfos I end up with Firefox 58 ones.
Missing separate debuginfos, use: dnf debuginfo-install
firefox-59.0.1-1.fc28.x86_64
(gdb) quit
[root@localhost ~]# dnf debuginfo-install firefox-59.0.1-1.fc28.x86_64
