I can only speculate with what I know, but is one of the XO-1.75s a version without the DCON chip? I have not looked at what models without DCONs do for a while. All C1 SKUs have DCONs but one of the B1 SKUs does not.
Also, I have noticed that showing the text console during suspend versus showing nothing seems to vary amongst XOs with DCONs over time for reasons I do not understand. In any case stopping the VT switch prior to suspending should in theory fix both.
