Minutes from the 04/25/02 Testing SWG meeting.

Technical/Business Scenarios - Institutional being finished, John attempting to get the remaining pages assigned.

Dental being completed and will be sent on to Claredi.

A great deal of discussion focused on the emails received referring to issues with accessing/using the test data available.  Mark Charles had some suggestions on enhancing the web site and will forward them to John and Sue. Help - if you have used the test data sets on the Claredi data set and have experienced problems please send your specific examples to [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED]. This will help us to refine future test examples.

Submission on New Test Data - Sue hasn't been able to connect with Kristin to address the ability to place test examples on the WEDi website.  John mentioned that with de-identifying he would have some test sets.

Press release - John will try to include information to assist in addressing the questions on the test data sets available today.

White Paper - Mark McLaughlin suggested that we use the existing approval process to get the appendix changes posted.  John is pursuing.

Webcast - John reviewed some of the webcast comments received.  One comment was that the webcast did not present more information than was presented in the white paper.  Again our recommendation is that webcasts be rated (beginner, intermediate, advanced).  This was forwarded to Kristin. John will ask Kristin if the slides can be made available.

WEDi Future Focus - Webcast must have follow up meetings to review audience comments and commitments made during the Webcast.  Discussion centered on how we could get providers to participate as speakers at future forums. It was suggested that WEDi approach at least the larger facilities to personally invite them to speak. Medicare contractors should be sought out to see if they can speak as early adopters, partnering w/providers.

Next meeting Thursday 05/09/02 at 11 A.M. ET.  The call in number is 703/736-7290 pass code 1315339.
