Hi, Karl Berry plans a new pretest of texinfo and a new release just in time for teTeX-2.0. There will be an announce (by Karl) about that new texinfo-pretest very soon.
If you have the possibility/time, please, test this texinfo pretest and report any bug / problem. Thomas
