Hello, It would be nice if texconfig had some command line options so that scripts (e.g. generic installation scripts) could call it. For example a script might want to rehash the ls-lR database. Such a script could call texconfig as "texconfig -r" or "texconfig --rehash" if such a flag were available. Then the way the database is recreated is entirely up to the texconfig program which would do the job consistently and reliably. Thanks! Neil Zanella [EMAIL PROTECTED]
