I just installed Debian Potato and have the following problem: Compiling a file (which I used with Slink's Tetex had no problems) produces an error code: ---------------------------------------- Loading the definitions for the Greek font encoding (/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/babel/lgrenc.def) ! Undefined control sequence. \GenericError ... #4 \errhelp \@err@ ... l.213 \initiate@active@char{^^9f} ------------------------------------------------ I have checked with other babel .def's the same line appears in most of them and that lgrenc.def is the same as the one on my previous version on Latex. Is there a workaround? Is it a bug? Johann. -- J.H. Spies - Tel/Faks +27-21-876-2337 Sel/Cell +27-82 898 1528 "I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
