Hi,

I'm using two different versions of tetex bundled, on the one hand, with
linuxppc :
tetex-1.0.6-10, shipping latex2e, 1998/12/01 patch 1  and amsbook,
1997/03/26, version 1.2r

and, on the other hand, with Red Hat 7.0 :
tetex-1.0.7-7, shipping latex2e, 1999/12/01 patch 1 and amsbook,
2000/01/17, version 2.03

Both of those come with bibtex 0.99c.

I'm writing my thesis, with documentclass amsbook. In my source
document, there is a sequence of instructions~:

\tableofcontents
\include{chapterX}
\appendix
\include{appendixY}
\bibliography{thesis}

When compiled under the RH7 system, the table of contents prints

Chapter 4. ChapterX
Appendix A.  AppendixY
Appendix.  Bibliography.

I don't feel it should be so ; I think it should be

Chapter 4. ChapterX
Appendix A.  AppendixY
Bibliography.

And that is what occurs under linuxPPC. Same remark with the index
entry.
The title of the actual pages related to bibliography and index are
correct.

Any comment ? If I'm right, any help or suggestions ?

Thanks.

Fabien
