Hello,
Not too long ago I sent a message to Thomas Esser, but didn't get a response
on this, and it has to do with a build problem with the package ps2pkm.
Here is the output that I received:

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I./.. -DUNIX -DKPATHSEA
-I/usr/include/gnu -g -O2 -c pfb2pfa.c
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I./.. -DUNIX -DKPATHSEA
-I/usr/include/gnu -g -O2 -c filenames.c
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I./.. -DUNIX -DKPATHSEA
-I/usr/include/gnu -g -O2 -c basics.c
./../klibtool link gcc -o pfb2pfa -s pfb2pfa.o filenames.o basics.o
../kpathsea/libkpathsea.la -lm
gcc -o pfb2pfa -s pfb2pfa.o filenames.o basics.o
../kpathsea/STATIC/libkpathsea.a -lm
basics.o: In function `fatal':
/usr/local/teTeX/texk/ps2pkm/basics.c:20: undefined reference to `stat'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [pfb2pfa] Error 1

Everything else built fine except for this. If you have any suggestions as
to what I should do, I would appreciate it.
Justin
