And a couple of further changes I forgot: - \bbl@languages stores a 'snapshot' of the preloaded languages, including name, number, patterns file and exceptions file. You can print its contents to the log by calling babel with the option showlanguages (is the current format too simple?). - The list of preloaded languages when running TeX is replaced by a shorter «hyphenation patterns for NN languages loaded».
