The LuaTeX examples didn't compile. I have fixed some of them (usage

I have applied a small patch that makes the ligature breaking example
compile again with current LuaTeX (tested with TL2019).
In fact, having left the repository for six years, I would not have
expected any of the LuaTeX related examples to still compile. :-)
