I use my favoured fonts to typset title, headings etc. using pmx/musixtex.
My preferred way to do so you can see in the pmx-source of J.S.Bach, Sinfonia
of Cantata 21 in the scores archive. The fonts (type1-fonts) must be proper
installed in the TeX-environment. I iclude a file into the pmx source wher the
fonts are defined in this way:
% Adobe Garamond Regular
\font\agra=padr8r at 8pt
\font\agrb=padr8r at 10pt
\font\Ttfont=pads8r at 24pt
in the pmx-file for example the title is formatted in this way:
Tt
\Ttfont{Contrapunctus IX}
