Okay, here's something a little more fun than what I've been submitting
lately:
In this piece, I'd like to use chord notation on soprano/alto and tenor/bass
parts on some of the areas where stems stick up or down between the staves
and obscure words (see bars 9,10). Using the -b option when compiling beams
in many unecessary places. Forcing beams using [ notes ] doesn't group into
chords (see measure 9), and reversing the beam direction only causes it to
overlap with the other voice in the staff. I know I could write one voice as
a chord and the other with silent rests, but that seems pretty far out of
the way...
I'd also like to maybe be able to change the spacing between the staves "on
the fly", so that in bars like 15-23, and esp. like 19, the lyrics are more
readable (not that the amens are that hard, this is for learning purposes).
Any tips? This song has been a lot of fun but hard work...
Again, please don't distribute the code, copyrights are unclear.
Mike
PS - Yes, I know there is also some work to be
bless.mtx
