You should *not* apologize. The TeX-Music list is no fundamentalist list
but handles problems and questions relevant to the Werner Icking Music
Archive including that of Sibelius postscript output. We had to deal
with it about three quarter of a year ago as Werner and I were preparing
the publication of a recorder arrangement of the 2nd movement from
J.S.Bach's Brandenburg Concerto #1, see
http://icking-music-archive.sunsite.dk/scores/Instr.html#bach1046.

The contributor of the above mentioned arrangement has typeset his
arrangement using Sibelius the postscript output of which caused us
troubles similar to those of yours. Eventually we manged to circumvent
the problem by asking the contributor to upload Sibelius pdf output from
which we were afterwards able to produce postscript scores by means of
the ghostscript utility 'pdf2ps'.

I don't know what is the cause of the problem with the Sibelius
postscript output, but I have a feeling that it might be connected with
printer drivers referenced by Sibelius.
