In the process of updating the software archives at http://icking-music-archive.sunsite.dk/software/indexmt6.html I made PDF's of the manuals for MusiXTeX, PMX, and M-Tx using type 1 fonts. Aside from a nicer screen appearance, a REAL benefit of the new PDF format is that these manuals are now searchable from within Acrobat Reader or the Acrobat Reader plugins.
