Dear all. Some weeks ago installing MusiXTeX on unix machines was discussed on the mailinglist. Afterwards I've been attempting to summarize what came out of this thread. The result is now available as a HOWTO documentation in html- and pdf format in the the software section of our archive. You find it near the top of the section 'MusiXTeX Files'.
