That's correct because there is no more autoexec.bat in WinNT/2000/XP. In NT you'd have to go to ->control-panel->system. There you find "envorinment" where you can either add your path system wide (if you have administrator priviledges) or personally. In Win2000 its the same if I remember right (I don't have a Wintel machine in my office, next time I'm in the lab I can look it up).
